Astrotec S80 True Wireless TWS Earbuds with Beryllium Dynamic Driver Review

Astrotec S80 True Wireless TWS Earbuds with Beryllium Dynamic Driver Review

Any products in HiFi area labeled "Beryllium acoustic membranes" are striking expensive such as Focal utopia at CNY 20,000 and JBL K2 S9800 at CNY 250,000. The super audio quality is unexceptionable but the price is not affordable as well for most people. Recently some audio manufactures initially try to feature Beryllium acoustic membranes on earphone to bring better audio performance. Astrotec is one of them who is really to do this starting with S80.
Astrotec has experience in researching and developing countless portable music products of different types specially their audio headphones, Astrotec has launched new products every year since then and has obtained a series of patented technology qualifications.

How about Astrotec S80 sound style? Terrific Clear.

Astrotec S80 audio drivers are coated with Beryllium. Beryllium is a thin yet sturdy material with excellent conductivity, that allows sound waves to oscillate at their precise frequency, no matter what kind of music you're listening to. The result: bass with low distortions, while mid and high tones are carried cleanly.
Other earbuds use bulky and low-cost conductors such as silicon, which result in audio quality loss. That's why Astrotec S80 sounds better than the other wireless earbuds that don't use  Beryllium Beryllium also conducts electricity better than Silicon, allowing it to elongate battery life.
Typically,  Beryllium-enhanced audio products are sold at premium prices, yet  Astrotec able to keep the costs low because they own and manage the supply chain.
Audiophile Grade High-Fidelity Audio Quality

No matter what material they opt, the audio quality of the earbuds is most important.  S50/S60 is already acceptable for most people to meet both your daily mood and sport with full bass.

As S80 supports AAC mode, I pair it with iPhone. Most earbuds on the market are designed with low resolution to make sound thicker and add more bass energy to make up the low resolution. That is why most TWS earbuds sound popular music styles.

Astrotec features high resolution comparing with same price level TWS earbuds. The bigger cavity brings sound space better. Bass is well controlled and full with suitable density, something commuters will appreciate helping drown out ambient noise.  Mids are outstanding and fat with clear near vocals and plenty of energy.  Female sound is very sweet. Highs are neutral and gentle with low distortion and you won't get tried with long-time hearing.   You shouldn’t expect top-grade performance out of S80 at CNY600, but come on—I can’t think of another pair of earbuds under $200 that can produce audio that sounds even half as good.

Revolutionary Bluetooth 5.0

S80 with an upgraded version of the Bluetooth 5.0 means various improvements comparing with Astrotec S50/S60, including longer playtime, better audio quality, greater range, stronger connection, and stereo phone calls in both ears.  S80 support AAC and SBC both, audio quality is better in AAC mode and it is more steady and further transmission in SBC mode. You can set them under developer model of Andriod OS.
Bluetooth 5.0 is the latest version of the Bluetooth wireless communication standard which means our Bluetooth wireless earbuds Astrotec S80 can maintain a super stable wireless connection within 10m range and use with lower power consumption and higher speed. Combining a streamlined, ultra-comfortable fit with premium sound, Astrotec S80 earphones feature a lightweight design and enhanced Bluetooth performance not only for everyday use but passionate sports enthusiasts in pursuit of their limits. It is still a little slow response for game playing but it is already acceptable.

Stereo Phone Calls in both Ears

In comparison to Astrotec True Wireless Stereo Plus technology, other TWS earphones work in a master/slave mode in which one earphone is the master and the other is the slave. In case the master gets lost, damaged or out of power, the other one becomes a dud. This mode causes extra power consumption, connection dropouts and bad synchronization between the two earphones. Astrotec S80 avoids you from all these pitfalls, allows you to enjoy the music just the way you want it!
However, paring it with iPhone for a music player for 30 minutes, it came to one earphone sound only once, Astrotec told us this problem will be improved in the next batch production which is coming at the end of July of 2019.

Smart Button replace Physical Buttons

With a gentle tap on the smart button on the Astrotec S80, you can play/pause music, change tracks forward, volume up/down, answer/end calls and call up the digital assistant. The button is quick to response yet not too sensitive to be triggered by accident. Unlike many headphones with physical buttons, you don’t need to press the buttons which can end up pushing the headphones into your ear( uncomfortable completely).   It takes a little getting used to, and you have to remember how many taps you require for a particular action to trigger, but it’s something that easy to learn after regular use.

All Day Playtime

The sleek charging spaceship uses a powerful micro-lithium ion battery that can keep your earbuds charged for up to 25 hours. Earbuds can play music for 6 hours on a full charge. It will take 1 hour to charge the earbuds and 2 hours to charge the case. Earbuds will be power off after 5 minutes if there are no connections.

Stylish Design

S80 earphones case is the top of all Astrotec products. Astrotec uses innovative plaid cloth surface + plating mirror design for compact carry case which attracts nearly everyone at first sight. Plaid cloth surface makes it warm as a daily thing in our life and the plastic with plating mirror looks like metal quality.
The streamline surface and shape of the earbuds to perfectly match the contour of the ear for maximum comfort.  The earbuds themselves are subtle, with a plating mirror looking end-cap that functions as smart touch buttons, the plastic case inner side are matte designed for security. Total weight of earbuds are only

Comfortable Fit, Stays in Your Ear

Astrotec S80 earbuds come with four tip sizes so they fit comfortably into any size ear canal. When you're active, whether you're commuting to work or jogging, you won't need to worry about these earbuds falling out. With this tight seal, you can block out ambient background noises and prevent sound leaks during calls.

Tight Seal Blocks Out Noises

When you put Astrotec S80 earbuds in, you'll give it a slight twist to seal it perfectly into your ear canal.

Workout, No Sweat

Astrotec S80  sweat-proof IPX 5 design prevents external moisture from affecting audio quality. Dust-proof encasing prevents dirt particles from building up and seeping into the equipment.

All said, if you’re shopping for a pair of truly wireless earphones with high audio quality, best audiophile-grade sound TWS Astrotec S80  at $99 shipped after the end of July of 2019 with high-cost performance should be at the very top of your list.
