Soncoz Announces QXA1 Fully Balanced Headphone Amplifier

Soncoz, the brand behind much-lauded SGD1 and LA-QXD1 Desktop DAC systems has introduced a brand new fully balanced headphone amplifier, presenting you the latest Soncoz QXA1. It is designed as a companion to the famous LA-QXD1 DAC system with matching aesthetics. Soncoz has featured dual analog inputs on the QXA1, single-ended RCA input, and balanced XLR input. It has 6.35mm single-ended and 4-pin XLR headphone output. QXA1 integrates Muses 72320 electronic volume chip which they previously implemented in their flagship SGA1 amplifier. It allows the users to precisely adjust volume with low noise and low distortion characteristics. Soncoz QXA1 houses a small OLED display on the front that displays active input/output and volume, gain levels. Soncoz has designed it with high-performance components to ensure quality performance. This includes 4 OPA1642 OP-AMPs per channel, 2200uF*2 coupled ELNA non-polar capacitors, 4-Layers of Chemical precipitation gold PCB, and more high-performance chipsets. Precise Volume Adjustment With MUSES 72320 Electronic Volume Chip:-

Soncoz has adopted MUSES72320 electronic volume chip for precise volume adjustment. They have previously implemented the same in their premium SGA1 balanced headphone amplifier. It allows for precise volume adjustment with low noise and low distortion characteristics. It has 0.5dB/step volume within a range of -99.75dB~0dB. It has 0.25dB/step when gain=0/6dB. Gain is also adjustable in the range of 0dB~+12dB.

Fully Balanced Architecture:-

Soncoz QXA1 is a fully balanced headphone amplifier. It has balanced XLR input where you can connect different balanced DAC systems including the famous LA-QXD1. For headphone output, the QXA1 houses a 4-pin XLR balanced output port. It also houses single-ended RCA input and 6.35mm single-ended headphone output ports.

Memory Function For Input/Output Parameters:-

Soncoz QXA1 has a memory function that remembers the volume and gain settings for each combination of input and output ports. One won’t have to adjust the volume and gain settings every time they switch between SE or Bal mode. The device remembers settings even when the device is turned off.

Multi-Function Volume Knob:-

Soncoz QXA1 features a multi-function knob at the front of the device. It allows to access all the different functions and settings on the QXA1. One press on the knob mutes the output, Long press for three seconds will put the device into standby mode, Long press for six seconds will reset all settings on the device, rotate quickly will adjust the volume settings. Users have to click on it and rotate to access different functions such as changing input/output, volume, or gain levels.
