Shanling M6/M6 Pro Latest Firmware Released

Shanling has released the latest firmware updates for its powerful Android digital audio player's, Shanling M6 and Shanling M6 Pro. This updates the M6 to V3.21 and the M6 Pro to V1.31. The main newly added features include added support for DSD support while using the devices as a USB DAC, support for 64-Bit Wav files, and more. It also enables the Shanling Music App to play DSD ISO and DST files on both the players.

Shanling M6 V3.21 Update Notes:-

>Added Support for DSD to USB DAC function(Native & DoP, up to DSD128).

>Added Ukrainian language support.

>After the OTA update, the player will display update notes (applicable from the following update).

>Improve working of notifications from third-party apps.

Shanling Music App Changes:-

>Added support for DSD ISO and DST files.

>Added support of 64-Bit Wav files.

>Fixed issue affecting the playback of AAC files.

>Fixed incompatibility with certain Album art files.

>Minor bug fixes.

Shanling M6 Pro V1.31 Update Notes:-

>Added support of DSD to USB DAC function (Native & DoP, up to DSD256).

>Added Ukrainian language support.

>After the OTA update, the player will display update notes (applicable from the following update).

>Improved working of notifications from third-party apps.

>Improved playback of Hi-Res files in third-apps, especially for Neutron Player.

Shanling Music Apps Changes:-

>Added support of DSD ISO and DST files.

>Added support of 64-Bit Wav files.

>Fixed issue affecting the playback of AAC files.

>Fixed incompatibility with certain Album art files.

>Other bug fixes.

How to update:-

>Download M6 update file from here, and M6 Pro update file from here.

>Make sure your device is fully charged.

>Copy the downloaded .zip file into the root folder of internal memory.

>Open the "Support" app (Purple Bulb icon).

>Click on "Update" (Might be "upgrade" in older versions or in some other languages).

>Click on "Local Update", and locate the zip file.

>Confirm the installation and wait until device updates and restarts itself.

>Re-install the Store patch.

Over-The-Air Firmware Update:-

>Make sure your device is fully charged.

>Go to the "Support" app.

>Click on "Update".

>App will find a new firmware update for your M6. You can choose from one of the two servers and then proceed with the downloading.

>When fully downloaded, confirm installation and wait until the system finishes its automatic update. After the device restarts, everything is ready for you.

>Re-install the Store patch.
