I’ve had it for a good few days now and adore it! I made a pan unboxing and “first impressions overview” . Bare in mind I’m not an audiophile as such, I bought this with my own cash. I hope hifigo will forgive a link to the video (non commercial, no affiliate):

When will we be able to buy this? I’ve always liked ths AP80 sinceits releasebut as I have a FiiO X3 MK II in mint condition that still gives me around 10/11 hours of playing with a full charge playing DSD 64 and FLAC @ 192/24 (those drains the FiiO battery the most) I didn’t think about getting the AP80 despite its great performance, size and look. But now with the AP80 PRO having two D/A IC’s that will definitely improve its sound next to the regular AP80 and being able of playing DSD 256 I’m thinking about getting a PRO when released.
I have one question,is the AO80 PRO able to output DSD 64,DSD 128 and DSD 256 via its USB output so it can be played by compatible D/A converters by its USB inputs?
I own a Topping D50 that can play up to DSD 512 by its USB input, so it’s important to me to know if the new P80 PRO will output DSD 64,DSD 128 and DSD 256 by its only USB input/output.
A second Micro SD slot would have been nice, but at such a small size it would be hard and expensive to implement.
