Fiio just released the new firmware FW1.0.6 for BTR5 on Dec,25th, if you buy BTR5 before Christmas, you may need to update it. The orders shipment which is not released yet by Hifigo will come with latest firmware.
The BTR5 FW1.0.6 firmware comes with following changes and improvements:
- The battery indication in charging status improved: the battery scrolling is based on current battery
- The sampling rate recognition improved when connecting to a mobile phone as USB DAC
- Other bugs fixed.

BTR5 leather case released
Meanwhile, the new BTR5 leather case released by DD company, which is Fiio's exclusively accessories supplier. The new leather case comes with better quality and usability compare to the original leather case from Fiio ( sold out), with higher price at $19.99.
