AFUL Announces Performer 5+2 2DD+4BA+1 Micro Planar Hybrid IEMs

In the recent times, AFUL has been quite active with its releases. They recently launched the new flagship Cantor multi-BA IEMs, and now they are back with another banger release, we are talking about their latest AFUL Performer 5+2(Performer7).

As you might guess from the name, the Performer 5+2 comes as an upgraded model or we can say a new model based on their debutant and highly successful model known as the AFUL Performer 5. It houses a seven-driver hybrid setup featuring dual dynamic drivers, four high-performance BA drivers, and one micro-planar driver.

AFUL has not only upgraded the driver setup, they have also taken the looks of the pair to the next level. The pair looks absolutely phenomenal with glittery opal green color face covers that are inspired from the beautiful gardens in Suzhou region of China. Overall, The AFUL Performer 5+2 brings a new level of sonic excellent with fantastic performance and exciting looks.

AFUL Performer 5+2 is launched officially for $239.99, you can check out more details and information here.

AFUL Performer 5+2 incorporates the same technologies that AFUL developed for the OG Performer 5. They have enhanced them to the next level to improve the overall performance of the Performer 5+2. We are talking about high-precision 3D printed acoustic duct tube structure design, RLC Network Frequency Division technology, and High-Damping Air Pressure Balance System. AFUL has designed a Y-shape arrangement for the dual dynamic driver effectively improving the bass elasticity and impact. AFUL Performer 5+2 gets enhanced bass response with better extensions and quicker, punchier presentation than the OG Performer 5.

AFUL Performer 5+2 brings together seven-driver hybrid setup housing dual dynamic drivers, four Balanced armature drivers, and one micro planar driver.  Using RLC frequency crossover division, these drivers are precisely adjusted to provide a coherent and crisp output with each driving performing best to its abilities.

The Dual DD drivers rich, impactful lower-end, the four BA drivers produce lovely vocals and clean instruments in the mid-treble region and the micro planar driver deliver a well-extended treble region. With this specially crafted Micro Planar Driver, the AFUL Performer 5+2 achieves an outstanding Treble region. It sounds accurate and natural, reproduces minute details with ease while not being harsh or sibilant.
