Effect Audio Launches Signature Series II: Next-Gen IEM Upgrade Cables

Effect Audio from Singapore is a famous name in the HiFi audio industry, primarily known for its exclusive range of upgrade cables. Two years back, Effect Audio revolutionized the market with its Signature series featuring three cables, the Ares S, the Cadmus, and the Eros S. The series became a huge success getting fantastic feedback from users globally. Following the success of the Signature Series, Effect Audio started doing extensive R&D to bring us better and enhanced products.

Fast forward to today, after two years of deep research, the wait for the Signature Series II is finally over, introducing an entirely new range of cables built on the highly acclaimed Signature Series, presenting the Effect Audio Signature Series II. Just like the former series, the new Signature Series II is also announced with three products, the Effect Audio Ares S II, Cadmus II, and Eros S II. Each cable here in the Signature Series II incorporates several new technologies such as the Solid-Core design from Effect Audio’s established Code Series and Fusion Series cables.

These are the world’s first eight-wire cables with Solid-Core design and 8-Wire Handwoven structure. They also have new geometries with a newer Y-Splitter design. The Signature Series II cables are lighter and sleeker than the former series. Let’s know more about each cable better.

Effect Audio Ares S II:-

The Ares S II is a high-purity copper cable with a Central Solid core design. This cable is made of high-quality UP-OCC copper core material and adopts a dual variant Quantum Copper design. It blends two types of copper, one with a solid core and the other with a double-layer multi-bundle design. This design ensures a richer lower end with a stronger bass kick and thick, fuller vocals. Ares S II cable has a Litz Braided structure with 26AWG 8-wire configuration. It also has an EA UltraFlexi Insulation outer sleeve that protects the sound signal from any kind of microphonic issues.

Ares S II is said to have a rich and denser sound quality. It complements different IEMs with richer, deeper sub-bass, clean and fuller sounding midrange, and smoother treble performance. With the new Solid Core and Quantum Copper design, the Ares S II has significant improvements, particularly in design and flexibility. The new Y-Splitter also has a sleek and modern aesthetic design. It still retains the iconic Carbon Fibre design, but this time, we have a multi-angled sculpted design inspired from the robust wings of a pathfinder.

The Ares S II has a Rhodium-Plated brass straight termination plug available in 2.5mm, 3.5mm, or 4.4mm options. As for the connectors, the Signature Series II adopts a ConX swappable connector system. By default, they have 2-pin 0.78mm connectors only. Effect Audio Ares S II is available to purchase now, check out more information here.

Effect Audio Cadmus II:-

The Cadmus from the former Signature Series has been appreciated as an all-rounder cable, Effect Audio takes things up a notch with the new Cadmus II. Made using high-purity Silver-Plated Copper material, the cable has 6 multi-sized core bundles on each wire. The cable has a 26AWG 8-wire configuration with Effect Audio’s famous Ultra Flexi Insulation. Similar to the Ares S II, the Cadmus II also uses Effect Audio’s Ergonomic Performance Optimization(EPO Pro), the cable has a flexible and lighter design compared to the Signature Series I cables.

With the UP-OCC Silver-Plated Copper Litz braided structure design and Solid-Core design, the new Cadmus II enhances the Bass depth promising a richer, denser bass region. The Cadmus II also enhances the treble region with a clearer and more detailed presentation. It delivers smooth, precise tones offering a vibrant and lively sound profile for the connected IEMs.

Effect Audio Cadmus II comes with ConX connector system and includes 0.78mm 2-pin connectors in the default package. It adopts Effect Audio’s standard Rhodium-Plated Brass straight type termination plug. Users can purchase the Cadmus II in 2.5mm, 3.5mm, or 4.4mm termination options. Effect Audio Cadmus II takes your listening experience up a notch with clear and detailed sound response!!

Effect Audio Eros S II:-

The flagship from the Signature Series II, the Eros S II is crafted using three different types of wire configurations. We have Silver and Copper alloy wire, Pure Silver wires, and Pure Copper wire materials. The central solid core is made of high-purity silver. The Eros S II has this striking Dark Grey coloured outer sleeve. Just like the other two cables in the Signature II series, the Eros S II also has rhodium-plated brass straight plugs and ConX swappable connectors with 0.78mm 2-pin in the box.

Eros S II has an expansive and big sound with a warm and bass-rich sound tone. Its Pure Silver Solid Core enhances the soundstage giving it a massive and big presentation. The cable has Tri-Element synCompound design featuring three kinds of materials for the wire cores. This allows the Eros S II to deliver exceptional speed, rich musicality, and a full-frequency enhancement that can greatly enhance the sound presentation of the connected IEMs.
