Topping is a China-based brand which is famous worldwide for its various range of premium audio products just like Topping NX3s an amplifier which one can use portably.

They have released a flagship-level Desktop DAC/AMP the Topping D90.

The Topping D90 uses the latest AKM DAC/AMP chip, the AK4499. It is also equipped with an XMOS XU208 USB chip, AK4118 S/PDIF receiver chip, and a CPLD programmable logic chip. It uses German Thesycon drivers. It comes with a pair of AccuSilicon 451584MHz and 49.1520MHz high-end femtosecond clocks for providing you with the best of sound quality output.

Flagship DAC offering Velvet Sound Output:-

 The Topping D90 is equipped with a flagship-level DAC the AK4499 which is a very capable DAC, providing you with outstanding sound quality rich of details.

It is implemented with 4 OPA 1612 opamps, 7 hi-fi capacitors, CPLD processing using 2 Accusilicon femtosecond clocks which provides a completely noise-free and jitter-free sound output.

This DAC produces a soft, smooth and lively sound quality which is why it is called Velvet Sound Verita, The sound output is natural and soft, which reproduces all the micro details in your music precisely.

Multiple Inputs Using High-Quality USB and SPDIF Chips:-

The Topping D90 comes with high-quality USB chip the XMOS XU208 which supports high sampling rates of PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and up to DSD512 natively, there is a crystal clear background with no noise floor, detail retrieval is just outstanding and crisp.

It supports IIS input using the HDMI port which provides a better signal direct to the DAC chip for offering better signal for decoding directly to the DAC, this feature only uses the IIS signal through the HDMI interface, not the standard HDMI signal, so it can not be used with HDMI through PC, TV or Set-top box.
The sound quality is natural, smooth and crispy, you will be enjoying all your music with quite good precision, it takes inputs from the USB port.

It is also equipped with an AK4118 AKM chip, which handles all the SPDIF inputs on the Topping D90, which is capable of decoding PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz, completely noise-free and jitter-free. It takes inputs from through the Optical, Coaxial and AES input ports.

Input Ports:- Topping D90 offers USB-B (XMOS), optical, coaxial, AES, IIS, and Bluetooth 5.0. The USB and IIS inputs support up to PCM32bit / 768 kHz and DSD512 Native. Optical, coaxial, and AES inputs support up to PCM24bit / 192 kHz.

Bluetooth 5.0 Support with Flagship Qualcomm Chip:-

The Topping D90 comes with flagship-level Bluetooth chip by Qualcomm, the CSR 8675, offering you strong and stable Bluetooth connection, which is lag-free and supports all the Bluetooth codecs like, aptX, aptX HD,aptX LL, AAC, LDAC and many more.

It offers high res 24-bit/96kHz LDAC support over the wireless connection.
Supporting LDAC and aptX HD the Topping D90 provides crystal clear sound without any lag or delay with wireless connections.

Balanced and Soft Sound Output:-

The Flagship DAC implemented in the Topping D90 is implemented with high-class components offering balanced and natural sound output, the bass is thumpy and quick, mids are natural and lush, and highs have a smooth and detailed texture.

Wide Dynamic Range and Great Signal To Noise Ratio:-

The Topping D90 provides a wide dynamic range of 127dB and an amazing signal to noise ratio of about 127dB, which provides greater extensions at the lower and higher ends and an amazing crystal clear background, with no signs of noise.

Dual Output Ports:-

The Topping D90 is equipped with dual output slots, one balanced XLR port offering you a power output of 4Vrms@0dBps, and another unbalanced RCA output port offering a power output of 2Vrms@odBps. It provides enough juice to power up any of your high demanding gears, whether it be planar headphones or speaker system.

It can output through both the output ports at the same time so you can use multiple gears with it at the same time. It comes with a volume control function so it can be used both as a DAC and as a DAC/Pre-Amplifier. This volume control can be disabled to make the D90 function purely as a DAC.

Switchable Power Voltage:-

The Topping D90 comes equipped with a power voltage switch which you can switch as per your country voltage outputs, 115v for AC100-120V 50/60Hz or 230V for AC220-240V 50/60Hz, which makes this device compatible with multiple power sockets.

Remote Control Included in the Package:-

The Topping D90 comes with a remote control that you can use for various functions like, powering on/off, mute, volume control, change input type, change the DAC filter type, or adjust the brightness of the OLED display.

OLED Display:-

  1. All items will be shipped out from China within 1~ 3 days after payment except prominent note on the page. If we cannot, we will let you know new shipping date at once after the payment and cancellation is available if you cannot accept that.

  3. Express ( DHL/UPS/EMS/Aramex etc.)  as a faster shipment option is available.

Q: When will you ship out the cargoes after payment? 

A: Within 1 - 3 days except prominent note on the page for pre-sale items. If we cannot ship out in 1~ 3 days, we will let you know new shipping date at once and cancellation is available if you cannot accept that. 

Q: I got a shipping confirmation and tracking number. Why don’t I have tracking information listed immediately?

A: Since shipping process involves multiple steps of coordination between internal and external parties, it doesn’t happen instantly. Usually tracking information will be listed on the next day of shipping confirm notification email/SMS.  

Q: Why tracking information is not updated for a long time? 

A: Usually it is on the way to your local country, pls be patient. If it is not updated a few days after arriving in your country, pls try to contact us or the carrier for additional information.

Hifigo offers 1 year warranty for Consumer Electronic products and so on. Should your product prove to be defective for non-artificial reasons within 1 year from the date of arrival, you can send the defective items back or unit for free repair. Hifigo will be in charge of the maintenance handling fees and replacement charges for defective components found to be defective due to manufacturer’s defect. (this free repair rule does not apply to motherboard & screen).

This warranty extends only to personal use & does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use which is not intended. There are no warranties other than expressly set forth herein. 


  • Damage due to accident, dis-assemble, waterlogmisuse, abuse, alterations or vandalism.
  • Improper or inadequate maintenance.
  • Unauthorized modification or commercial use. 
  • Damage in return transit.
  • Unsupervised use by children under 18 years of age.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Returns or Exchange

Can I cancel an order? 

For both Non - customized order and customized order, it is not accept for cancellanation after 24 hours you have placed an order. Hope you could understand that we will start process for your order once we receive your order in 24 hours.  

Can I return the product that I don’t like and get refund?

Some items may be returned for either money back or exchange subject to the following conditions. Our policy is within 7days after receiving according to the tracking record. If 7 days after receiving have gone , unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

  • Any item returned  must be complete with all accessories, hardware, manuals or instructions, and in the same "new" condition as when it was when shipped to you. Please send us the photos or videos of it. 
  • Any item returned incomplete or with physical damage such as scratches etc., excessive signs of use or abuse will not be accepted for return.
  • Any item returned will be evaluated upon receipt. Of course, we cannot give refunds on defective merchandise resulting from mishandling, misuse, tampering or improper use.

Can I exchange product I ordered? 

We offer exchange service if the items in following conditions. (*Except Non-refundable & Non-exchangeable items)
  • Products must in “Good Condition” with no damaged in any way.
  • To exchange a product, the product must be available to purchase on and its price must be higher or equal to the original order amount.
  • The customer will have to pay the difference in price if s/he selects a product of a higher price.
  • If you have purchased any items with any discount offered by a joint promotion or other promotional activities but the discount offer has expired at the time of the exchange, the discount shall not be taken into account. Discounts offered by companies other than Hifigo shall be dealt with in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant companies.

What’s the normal process of cancel, return or refund ?

Please email our customer service with your order number and your specific inquiries. Please keep the product as original as possible and send us the photos or videos of it.

Which kind of product can be returned and refunded?

All cable/DAC/AMP/UIEM products are returnable if the product is in the same condition as when purchased. CIEM products cannot be returned. Defective products covered under warranty could be returned for servicing, but NOT for refund.

When do items need to be returned by?

No later than 7 days after receiving the product (according to tracking record)

Where do items need to be returned to?

For international shipping, to make your ship back easily, pls contact us and choose your convenience place to ship back to us. If you want to ship back to us, please contact us for our shipping address.

When can i get refund for my product?

We will refund you once we receive your order and after product checking, we will refund you within 3 working days.

How much can I get for refund?

We will charge you 30% of the MSRP for restocking fee and then refund you the rest of the money. For example, if the MSRP is $100, we will refund you $70. If the item is returned without its complete original packaging (original box, foam padding etc.), additional 10% packing fee will apply. 

Who will be responsible for the shipping back fee?

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.  To provide you with the best shopping experience, we will try our best to choose the best shipping method to you. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
