Product Description:

The SU-2 digital interface is a high-performance USB digital audio interface. The microprocessor with the latest ARM Cortex-M4 as the core is used as the main control of the USB data part. SU-2 uses a self-developed ultra-low jitter clock system (ACCUSILICON's AS-318B series, which achieves ultra-low jitter at the femtosecond level). A large-capacity FPGA serves as the digital audio data processing core and has a standard USB2.0 input interface. Rich output interface, including XLR balanced output AES, coaxial RCA and BNC, I2S interface with HDMI socket output, perfect master clock and word clock (WCLK) output. SU-2 supports external 10Mhz clock input, using common 50 ohm input impedance design.

The SU-2 is not only a USB interface, it can also be used as an independent master clock product.

 1. When used as an independent master clock, it can output a word clock of 44.1K-384K, or output a master clock of 22.5792Mhz-49.152Mhz. (When not connected to USB, it will be used as the master clock device by default)

 2. When using an external 10Mhz clock input, it can also be used as a frequency converter; support 10Mhz to 44.1K-384K word clock, or output 22.5792Mhz-49.152Mhz master clock.

  SU-2 is a new architecture USB interface developed by us to replace the original SU-1; PCM sampling rate supports up to PCM 768K, and DSD supports up to DSD1024. Using a large FPGA as the core of the processing processing, we decentralized some of the FPGA algorithm technology of the flagship interface SU-6 to the SU-2; its positioning in the mid-to-high-end interface mainly uses the following three unique technologies:

      1. Full isolation technology (ground isolation), using 150Mbps full isolation chip, can completely isolate the interference from the PC;

      2. Source synchronization technology and FPGA shaping technology, reshape the I2S signal after isolation; thus eliminating the additive jitter brought by the isolation chip;

      3. Self-developed clock system, using ACCUSILICON high-performance crystal oscillator, low phase noise, low jitter; you can also choose external 10Mhz clock, support various atomic clocks, constant temperature crystal, GPDSO input.

This product supports two kinds of AC power voltage, 230V and 115V respectively. Please choose the volts suitable for your country's voltage. The driver was updated in June 2019. The latest version is V4.67. The latest driver supports DSD1024 and DSD NATIVE modes.

Electrical standards for each interface:

1. The USB input socket is a standard USB-B female socket, and the USB power supply range is 4.5V-5.1V;
2. The RCA interface outputs standard S / PDIF signals with a level of 550mV (connected to a standard load) and an output impedance of 75 ohms;
3. The power input is 115V / 230V AC, and the internally imported transformer is used for power supply.

Details:

1. We attach great importance to the design of power supply circuits, using LDOs with high performance, low noise and fast response as the main power supply. The entire board uses multiple independent LDO power supplies, and the clock part even uses ADI's ultra-low noise LDO, which lays a solid foundation for ensuring the ultimate output performance.

2. The PCB main board adopts a 4-layer circuit board design to ensure a complete ground plane and power layer. A high-speed digital design method is used to ensure the signal integrity and power integrity of the entire board. The clock signal is specially processed, and the grounded design and precise impedance control are adopted to ensure the clock signal quality and improve its anti-interference ability. The input and output signals follow the standard design, especially the USB high-speed signals use 90 ohm differential impedance control.

System compatibility:

1, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10; 32/64 bit, special drivers need to be installed
2, Native MacOS 10.6 and later, using the system's own driver
3.Native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel, using the system's own driver, (tested on Ubuntu and Daphile systems, based on INTEL X86 platform)
4, Android OS 4.2 and above, the device needs to support the OTG function. Generally speaking, Android 9.0 and above systems are supported by default. It is recommended to use it with specialized players below 9.0.

I2S interface uses HDMI socket output:

1. 3.3V LVDS differential signal;
2. DSD ON signal, 5V power supply (small current), CPLD has been processed inside the MUTE signal, and there is no need to output the MUTE signal;
3. The DSD ON signal can be defined by itself. The DSD ON signal can be arbitrarily output to the PIN 13, 14, 15, 16 pins of the socket.

Flexible I2S and clock output configuration:

1. Switches 1-4 correspond to the PIN13-16 pins of the HDMI socket. Pull to the ON position, it means that the HDMI PIN has the function of DSD_ON.

2. Switches 5 and 6 are the modes that configure the clock output:
   When the switch 5 is OFF, the clock outputs MCLK, and when it is ON, the clock outputs WCK.
   Switch 6 configures the frequency of MCLK, which is 22.5792M / 24.576M when OFF, and 45.1584M / 49.152M       when ON;
   The configuration of switch 6 is valid for CLK OUT, RJ45-I2S, and HDMI-I2S.

3. Switch 7 can set the left and right channels in DSD mode in I2S signal separately.

4. Switch 8 can set the BCLK line sequence in the I2S signal; when OFF, PIN4 is BCLK + and PIN6 is BCLK-;

5. Switch 9 can set the line sequence of LRCLK in I2S signal; when OFF, PIN7 is LRCLK + and PIN9 is LRCLK-;

6. Switch 10 can set the line sequence of DATA in I2S signal; when OFF, PIN1 is DATA + and PIN3 is DATA-;

The SU-2 can be configured via SW switches to suit different I2S standards.
However, as far as we know, HDMI-I2S is different for every manufacturer in the world. For most manufacturers, HDMI-I2S is a proprietary protocol of the manufacturer. Therefore, I'm sorry, SU-2 cannot adapt to all HDMI-I2S machines, so we cannot accept returns due to incompatible I2S interfaces.

Why hasn't my order shipped yet?

Typically, it takes about 1-3 Business Days of processing time before we ship your order. We ask that you allow us 1-3 Business Days to process your order!

I've received a tracking number for my order. Why is my tracking not working?

Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking information to update. This is usually the time it takes for your order to be logged by the shipping courier after reaching the shipping facility from our warehouse.

Although your order can "ship", sometimes the online tracking will not update until 24 hours later. Usually, expect to see updated tracking information on the next business day after you receive your confirmation email/SMS. We appreciate your patience.

Returns

We offer a 7-Day Return Policy. You have 7 days to return an item from the date that you received it.(confirmed by Shipping Tracking record).

If 7 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in it's original packaging.

Some types of goods Such as CIEMs cannot be returned. .To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@hifigo.com.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at support@hifigo.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product please contact us for an RMA. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We may advise the use of certain shipping carriers. 

 

Warranty

How long is the warranty period?

HiFiGo warrants to the original purchaser that the Product(s) shall be free of any defect in material or workmanship for a period of one year for labor and one year for parts from the date of the original invoice.

Should the Product(s) supplied by HiFiGo prove defective because of improper workmanship or material as reasonably determined by us, HiFiGo agrees, at its option, to either repair or replace the Product free of charge, excluding any shipping or handling charges. 

This warranty extends only to personal use & does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use which is not intended. There are no warranties other than expressly set forth herein. 

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING

  • Damage due to user negligence, accidents, dis-assembly, waterlog, misuse, abuse, alterations or vandalism.
  • Improper or inadequate maintenance.
  •  failure to perform required preventive maintenance
  • use not following the ‘User Guide’ or any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product materials.
  • Unauthorized modification or commercial use. 
  • Damage in return transit.
  • Unsupervised use by children under 18 years of age.
  • Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, problems with electrical power, acts of third parties.
  •  Products that are altered or repaired by anyone not authorized by HiFiGo
  •  usage not following instructions accompanying the Product(s)
  •  failure to perform required preventive maintenance, 
  • weather conditions, lightning, fire, water, or any acts of nature
  • Furthermore, HiFiGo is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature resulting from the use of this product and any liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product. 

 

How can I Request a Warranty replacement or repair?

You must email our customer service support@hifigo.com within the applicable warranty period with your order number and your specific inquiries. Please describe your problems that you encountered with as musch detail as you can.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties - Except as set forth herein, HiFiGo disclaims any and all warranties and representations other than those explicitly specified in this contract; any warranties, if separately provided in writing, are extended only to the Buyer whose name is shown on this invoice/contract. Warranties do not cover product damaged by external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, improper installation, problems with electrical power, acts of third parties, Products that are altered or repaired by anyone not authorized by HiFiGo, usage not following instructions accompanying the Product(s), or failure to perform required preventive maintenance, including but not limited to backups, problems caused by use of software, parts and components not supplied by HiFiGo, weather conditions, lightning, fire, water, or any acts of nature; HiFiGo shall not be obligated to provide any warranty service or obligations unless customer has paid its invoices in full under this or any other HiFiGo invoice. HiFiGo shall have the sole discretion in determining whether the Product is covered under the warranty for labor and/or warranty for parts

Governing Law - This contract shall be governed and construed per the laws of the People's Republic of China. Buyer agrees that competent courts in the People's Republic of China shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any legal action concerning this contract. In the event of any dispute related to this contract, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorneys' fee and costs.

FAQs

Can I cancel an order? 

Once an order is placed, you have less than 24 hours to cancel it before it processes. Once the order processes and is accepted by our warehouse, you may still request cancellation, however please know that cancellation at that stage is not guaranteed. 

Can I return the products that I don’t like and get a refund?

You may request to return an item in the condition it was received if you change your mind. Some items may be returned for either money back or exchange subject to the following conditions. Our policy is within 7days after receiving according to the tracking record. If 7 days after receiving have gone , unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  • Any item returned must be complete with all accessories, hardware, manuals or instructions, and in the same "new" condition as when it was when shipped to you. Please send us the photos or videos of it. 
  • Any item returned incomplete or with physical damage such as scratches etc., excessive signs of use or abuse will not be accepted for return.
  • Any item returned will be evaluated upon receipt. Of course, we cannot give refunds on defective merchandise resulting from mishandling, misuse, tampering or improper use.

Can I exchange a product that I ordered? 

We offer exchange service if the items in following conditions. (*Except Non-refundable & Non-exchangeable items)
  • Products must in “Good Condition” with no damaged in any way.
  • To exchange a product, the product must be available to purchase on Hifigo.com and its price must be higher or equal to the original order amount.
  • The customer will have to pay the difference in price if s/he selects a product of a higher price.
  • If you have purchased any items with any discount offered by a joint promotion or other promotional activities but the discount offer has expired at the time of the exchange, the discount shall not be taken into account. Discounts offered by companies other than HiFiGo shall be dealt with per the terms and conditions of the relevant companies.

What’s the process of cancelling, returning or requesting a refund ?

Please email our customer service support@hifigo.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Please pack the product carefully.
You must return an item in the same condition as it was received. You must also include, in the same condition as it was received:
  • All packaging such as boxes, bags, and tags
  • Accessories such as cords and remotes
  • Certificates, manuals, and warranty cards
  • "Free gifts" or bonus items
  • All items included in a bundle

What are the items that can be returned?

We accept the following items for return only if they are retuned in the same condition in which they were received, and the items should include all items that were in the original package.

  • Cables
  • DACs
  • Amplifiers
  • UIEMs

We do not accept the return of CIEM products. Defective products covered under warranty could be returned for servicing, but NOT for refund. If the returned item is used, damaged, or missing any parts, or is damaged during return shipping because it wasn't packaged correctly, we might provide a partial refund to account for the loss in the item's value.

When do I need to return the items? When is the deadline?

Items can be returned within 7 days of receipt of delivery according to the online shipping tracking record.

When will I receive my refund?

In most cases, we will issue your refund within six business days after receiving and checking the returned item. 

How much will I receive for a refund?

You’ll be refunded the amount you paid minus 30% of the MSRP which shall be deducted as a restocking fee. For example, if the MSRP is $100, we will refund you $70. If the item is returned without its complete original packaging (original box, foam padding etc.), additional 10% packing fee will apply.

Financial refunds can take up to 7 business days depending on your financial institution. It usually takes 3 to 5 business days for a PayPal refund to go through. Other financial refunds can take up to 7 business days depending on your financial institution. If you paid with a credit card, it may take up to 30 days to process, depending on your card provider.

Who will pay for the return Shipping fees?

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. To provide you with the best shopping experience, we will try our best to choose the best shipping method to you. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
