Tanchjim Launches 4U: Single Dynamic Driver IEMs With 4-Way Tuning Mechanism

Tanchjim has brought us an exciting new product, introducing the all-new Tanchjim 4U. Right after the CanJam in Singapore 2024, Tanchjim started pushing out some basic information for the 4U through their social media platforms. This is a rather special IEM featuring a Dual-Chamber DMT4 single dynamic driver configuration on each side.

The exciting part is, Tanchjim has implemented a 4-level adjustable circuit filter system on the pair. This allows for easy adjustment on the tuning output of the pair with just a simple and handy mechanism. The inner side of the cavity features this mechanism which users can adjust in four different settings using the given tool in the package. This adjusts the bass response of the pair, allowing the users to experience four different tunings on the set with a simple mechanism. As mentioned earlier, Tanchjim 4U houses their latest DMT4 Architecture dynamic driver unit. This Dual-chamber driver has an optimized cavity structure for enhanced sound reproduction. It features LCP composite material diaphragm. This composite diaphragm has been designed specifically for the 4U. Even the curvature of the cavity has been FEA simulated for proper sound reproduction with a low resonance effect. The LCP composite diaphragm is rigid and flexible, it produces a crystal-clear output with low distortion and high clarity.

The 4-way adjustable circuit filter system is a blessing for audiophiles. Tanchjim has designed this architecture with a lot of R&D. With a simple rotatable mechanism on the inner side of the shells allows you to play around the tuning by adjusting the bass response. You can have 4-levels of bass tuning which users can adjust as per your liking. Tanchjim has featured a strong magnetic circuit that provides efficient drivability, wider dynamic range, and cleaner output with lower distortion. They have optimized the front cavity structure of the pair for a comfortable wearing experience without any additional pressure buildup.

We have a comfortable design with the 4U, the ear shells are exquisitely. The shells are inspired by Gray Rabbit with a smooth mirror finish on the face panels that matches the body shape of a rabbit. They have an overall U-shape build with zinc-alloy frosting for a premium look and feel.
