The core philosophy behind the PL20 is versatility. While it functions primarily as a high-fidelity CD player with instant playback support, it offers unique functionality that will help you grow your digital collection as well. The PL20 features a One-Click Lossless CD Rip functionality. You don’t need any PC or complex system, simple one-button press and it will rip your CD to the connected flash drive in lossless Wav format. SMSL Pl20 also supports two-way Bluetooth connectivity. The device supports Bluetooth V5.3 connectivity, and it supports both transmitter as well as receiver modes for versatile operation. In transmitter mode, you can connect TWS earphones and wireless headphones with the PL20 for music playback and in receiver mode, you can connect your phone or other Bluetooth devices to feed signal to the PL20.

Under the hood, SMSL has equipped the PL20 with a premium dual-DAC arrangement. It houses dual CS43131 DAC chips from Cirrus Logic, a setup renowned for delivering a pure high-fidelity music listening experience.
