SMSL has equipped the D10 with a high-performance Dual DAC arrangement. The DAC/AMP comes equipped with dual CS43131 DAC chips. They provide exceptional high-resolution audio signal processing supporting up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and Native DSD256 audio signals. The Dual CS43131 DAC chips are widely acclaimed 32-bit DAC chips from Cirrus Logics. They provide exceptional characteristics like ultra-low distortion, high SNR and high DNR performance. SMSL has also featured a strong amp section on the D10, it has a powerful output thrust of up to 500mW. With such clean and powerful output, it would be a good companion for IEMs and headphones.

SMSL has designed the D10 with great precision and craftsmanship. The DAC/amp has got a superb build which is both great in looks and robust in build. It has a metallic alloy chassis and features a transparent back panel. Users can have a glance at the internal audio circuitry of the D10 through this transparent panel. The device has dual headphone output ports, featuring 3.5mm Single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plug options.
