Moondrop Introduces Quarks2 Single DD IEMs with DSP Type-C Termination

Moondrop has been an active HiFi audio brand primarily known for its exclusive range of in-ear monitors. A few years ago, Moondrop revolutionized the budget segment with the “Moondrop Quarks” , an exclusive pair of IEMs with ground-breaking sonic performance and superb low price. Today We are excited to announce that Moondrop has come up with a brand upgrade version to the same, presenting the all-new Moondrop Quarks2. Featuring a specially developed 7.8mm dynamic driver and integrated DSP technology, the Moondrop Quarks2 promises brilliant sonic performance with an ultra-wide frequency response and ultra-low distortion. The Quarks2 houses a 7.8mm micro dynamic driver unit. It features a LCP(Liquid Crystal Polymer) composite diaphragm with flexible suspension. The driver is specially developed for the closed-front cavity design of the Quarks2. Together with the closed front-cavity design, its high-performance diaphragm allows to produce commendable sound performance with excellent bass punch, great midrange clarity and crisp treble definition. It has an efficient N52 magnetic circuit with lightweight CCAW voice coil as well. The experience with the Quarks2 is going to be amazing for the music lovers. The set has been tuned following the VDSF target response depicts a wide staging and punchy lower end response with clear vocals.

Moondrop Quarks2 has interactive online DSP support. The set comes with a Type-C terminated cable with built-in DSP SOC arrangement. The cable has a 40nm SOC with integrated DSP, CPU, RAM, and a decoding AMP architecture. It supports hardware level PCM 32-Bit/384kHz audio signal processing. Moondrop Quarks2 provides high-resolution lossless wired audio experience. With its Type-C termination, the set can be used easily with different Android, Windows, and iOS devices. It effortlessly handles Hi-Res music and is suitable for watching movies or playing video games with its low-latency connectivity. The online interactive DSP allows you to play around with different filters and EQ presets and share it with your friends(using the Moondrop Link Application).

Moondrop Quarks2 have a classy design. The pair has a bullet-shaped comfortable and lightweight design. The shell has been designed to sit comfortably and provide good level isolation from the surroundings. Moondrop has included dual acoustic filter design composed of different damping materials to effectively reduce the sharpness and sibilance from the treble frequencies. This ensures the user gets a comfortable listening experience with a natural timbre. The Type-C terminated cable also has a built-in microphone and three-button media control keys as well.
