SMSL AO300 houses CS43131 high-performance 32-bit DAC chipset. Combined with the XMOS XU316 3rd generation 16-core USB processor, the DAC section promises crystal clear sound signal decoding with enhanced SNR and THD+N performance. The AO300 supports decoding for high-resolution 32-bit/384kHz PCM, native DSD256 audio signals. SMSL AO300 is also certified for MQA and MQA-CD support bringing in studio quality sound decoding to your desktop. The CS43131 has a rich and delicate sound profile bringing in quality sound with excellent dynamics. It also has eight different EQ profiles and five different digital filters that allow you to easily adjust the output to your liking.

SMSL AO300 comes equipped with an Infineon MA5332MS high-power amplification chipset. It produces a powerful output providing up to 165W per channel at 4Ω impedance through the power-amp bookshelf speaker output. The AO300 also has a sub-woofer output that allows you to easily create a 2.1Ch powered speaker setup. SMSL AO300 also supports headphones and in-ear monitors with 4.4mm balanced and 6.35mm single-ended headphone connection ports.  SMSL AO300 has multiple input ports as well. You can easily pair the device with a wide range of products including external DAC, TV, CD Player, Laptops, Tablets, etc. It supports multiple input modes including USB, Optical, Coaxial, HDMI(Arc), RCA, and Bluetooth.
