Shanling Unveils M3X Latest Android Hi-Res Player

Shanling Audio has unveiled its latest Android Hi-res music player, the Shanling M3X. It is built on the same platform as previous M6, M6 Pro, and M8 Android players from the brand. The M6/M6 Pro covers the mid-fi segment while the M8 is a flagship Android player in the market, the M3X is from the more affordable budget segment. It has a price tag of 339$ and will be available internationally starting March 2021.

The Shanling M3X is the world’s first Android Hi-res player to feature the latest ES9219C DAC chip. It utilizes two of these latest-generation signal decoding chips for a complete BAL output via the 4.4mm headphone out. The player also supports full 16X MQA decoding providing exceptional Hi-res music entertainment on the go. The other interesting feature about the M3X is its superb endurance. The player has a battery life of up to 23 hours on a single charge!! That’s something fabulous for a powerful Hi-res player!! We will be bringing you the player as soon as the pre-order goes live.

Shanling M3X is the world’s first Hi-res player to feature the latest ES9219C DAC chip from Sabre Technologies. It features two of them in balanced architecture for a fully balanced 4.4mm output. The ES9219C is the 3rd generation of DAC’s from Sabre Technologies, it offers quality performance with high dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, and a pitch dark background.

Full Hi-Res Decoding Support:-

The Shanling M3X supports full MQA decoding with up to 16x unfolding. It also supports PCM decoding up to 32-Bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD256 natively. It is made to deliver quality performance to lead the industry in its class segment.
