Shanling M6 Ultra comes with a Quad DAC Architecture. Yes, you read it right, instead of a Dual DAC design, Shanling has equipped the M6 Ultra with a Quad DAC arrangement. As we have mentioned earlier in this blog, Shanling returns the AKM DACs to its portable lineup with the M6 Ultra. The device is designed with four AKM AK4493SEQ DAC chips. These are the newest 32-Bit Hi-Res audio decoding chips from AKM that got released recently. Supported by a specially designed OP+BUF-based analog amplification circuitry, the Shanling M6 Ultra achieves ultimate performance with ultra-low THD+N ratings and a high dynamic range. The end result is a musical, clean, precise, detailed sound output that brings life to your favorite tracks!!
