HiBy R3 Pro Firmware V1.3 Released!!

HiBy has released a new update for its powerful digital audio player, the HiBy R3 Pro. The HiBy R3 Pro is a very powerful DAP with all the latest features. It features a high-performance dual DAC setup featuring CS43131 DAC chips. The player is able to decode PCM up to 32-Bit/384kHz, DSD up to DSD256 natively. It also features MQA decoding providing the users with an unmatched sound output with crisp clarity. You can check more details about the HiBy R3 Pro here. The latest firmware version is V1.3 and it brings some new features and bug fixes to the R3 Pro. It adds HiByLink feature that allows users to easily adjust playback on R3 Pro via Android Smartphones.

Changes with Firmware V1.3:-

1. Added HiByLink playback setting function (applies in Android version 5713 and above).

2. Added Pinyin (first letter) search function.

3. Optimized detection of the MQA tracks.

4. Optimized playlist cover display logic.

5. Fixed counting issue when the pedometer is disabled.

6. Fixed issue where login fails if the Wi-Fi password has special characters.

7. Fixed an issue where users may fail to log in to TIDAL and Qobuz.

8. Fixed issues with song scanning/playback causing possible hangups.

How to Update:-

OTA Method:-

You can update your HiBy R3 Pro using the OTA method. Simply connect your R3 Pro to your Wi-Fi.

>Go to System Settings.

>Firmware Update

>Via OTA.

It will take approx 10 mins to complete the update.

Offline Method:-

You can also update your HiBy R3 Pro using an offline method. For this follow the following instructions:-

>Download the update file from here.

>Copy the downloaded file to the root directory of your MicroSD card.

>Go to System Settings.

>Click on Firmware Update.

>Via SD-Card.

This will start the update process and will take approx 10 minutes to complete the update.
