FiiO Releases New Firmware Upgrade For M11 Plus LTD & M17 Android Audio Players

FiiO has released firmware upgrades for its latest M11 Plus LTD and M17 Android Digital Audio Players. M17 was released recently and is a beefed-up Android music player that is loaded with advanced tech and features. This latest Firmware upgrades the M17 to FW1.0.2 and the latest firmware for M11 Plus LTD upgrades it to FW1.0.6. Here’s the changeling with both the devices.

FiiO M17 Changelog(FW1.0.2):-

>Added double tap to wake up function(Enable it in settings>Global>Double tap to wake up).

>Added volume adjustment for system USB Audio output.

>Fixed the issue where in power-off status the indicator light does not work.

>Fixed the issue where some MQA tracks might not be recognized properly.

>Improved the playback of MQA files. Previously some files had a stutter in the beginning.

>Improved the prompt of side volume buttons, Added the “Do Not Display Again” option.

>Improved some prompts in the Pop-Up window in FiiO Music Application.

>Miscellaneous improvements on performance.

>Minor bug fixes.

>Optimised charging function.

>Added volume adjustment for System USB Audio output.

>Fixed the issue where some MQA tracks might not be recognized properly.

>Fixed the issue where formats of some tracks were not displayed properly.

>Improved Some Prompt Pop-up window in FiiO Music Application.

>Improved MQA playback.

>Fixed the issue where no output works after repeatedly unplugging the headphones.

>Miscellaneous improvements in performance.

How to Upgrade M11 Plus LTD/M17:-

Both the M17 and M11 Plus LTD are the latest Android devices they can be upgraded like any other Android device in the market. They support both Online and Offline upgrades. Before proceeding please charge your device with up to 75% battery and do not use the device while the upgrade is in process.

Online Upgrade:-

>Connect your M17/M11 Plus LTD to a working WiFi connection.

>It will automatically detect for upgrade and notify you for the same. If it doesn’t notify you about the new upgrade, go to “Technical Support”.

>Click on “Firmware Upgrade”.

>Tap on “Check for updates”.

Your device will check with the server for an available upgrade, just click on download and install. Wait for the process to finish itself, you have successfully upgraded your M11 Plus LTD/M17.

Offline Upgrade:-

>Download the upgrade file for M11 Plus LTD here and M17 here. (Do not unzip the downloaded firmware .zip file).

>Copy the downloaded zip file to the internal storage of your music player or SD card.

>Boot the device and go to “Technical Support”.

>Click on “Firmware Upgrade”.

>Tap on “Local Upgrade”.

>Locate the copied firmware file and click on install to start the upgrade.
