Effect Audio has developed the Perseus with a meticulously engineered 9-driver quad-brid setup on each side. The pair features Kinetic Isobaric dual 8mm LSR dynamic drivers arranged in an isobaric push-pull chamber. We have customized dual BA setup featuring custom SONION 2300 BA drivers. Rather than traditional EST’s, Effect Audio has opted for four new-age micro-planar magnetic drivers combined with a dedicated PTZ bone conduction driver unit. This complex architecture is fully managed by a precisely designed 4-way crossover system: the dual DD handles the bass section, the dual SONION BA drivers handle the midrange clarity, the quad micro-planar’s produce an extended treble section, and the PTZ BCD driver is utilized to reinforce spatial definition, layered depth, and precise imaging on the set.

Unlike typical IEM releases where the cable is an afterthought, Effect Audio leveraged its legacy as a premium cable manufacturer to develop the ORDINIS cable alongside the Perseus from the very first tuning stage. It’s an exclusive 8-wire 26AWG cable that features a complex central solid core and multi-sized core bundle design. This cable is crafted using timeless legacy Gold-Plated Silver, UP-OCC pure silver, custom silver-copper alloy, and EA geometric copper Litz wire conductors. The cable features Effect Audio’s versatile ConX® 2-pin connector design and is wrapped in their UltraFlexi™ Insulation, the ORDINIS is designed to maintain supreme bass control and coherence across the massive quad-brid system.

Visually, the Perseus features a multi-angled faceplate CNC-machined from premium aluminium alloy, echoing the sharp precision of its mythological namesake. This full-metal chassis isn't just cosmetic, it provides a highly stable acoustic environment that minimizes unwanted resonance, which is crucial for the internal bone conduction driver to work effectively. Despite the heavy 9-driver setup, the Perseus is engineered for high efficiency. With an impedance of just 18 Ohms and a sensitivity of 108dB, it can be driven effortlessly by a wide variety of portable DAC/AMPs and digital audio players without losing dynamic capability or tight acoustic control.
