Six Upgrades with the all-new ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2: Quiet Sea 2 vs Quiet Sea 1!!

When it comes to single-dynamic driver IEMs, ROSESELSA(Previously known as RoseTechnics) has this amazing set of in-ear monitors, the ROSESELSA Quiet Sea. Originally released in 2023, the Quiet Sea received much praise from audiophiles worldwide. Be it for comfort, be it for its outstanding sound profile, people simply appreciated the set. Fast forward to 2025, last week, ROSESELSA released a highly-anticipated upgrade to the pair, they released the all-new ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2. While keeping the driver configuration the same, i.e., the Quiet Sea 2 still rocks a single-dynamic driver setup on each side, ROSESELSA has upgraded the pair from the ground up. We now have a new dynamic driver unit along with a new dual-cavity design, advanced ORBITA architecture, a new tuning profile that complements different genres of music, and a brand-new stock cable with a modular termination plug system. With all these upgrades, ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2 is all ready to rock your world with an all-new level of sonic excellence. In today’s blog, we are going to discuss all these amazing features that enhance the overall performance of the Quiet Sea 2 and take its sound quality to the next level. Let’s begin.

ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 1 vs Quiet Sea 2-1

At the time of this blog post, ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2 is available with us priced at $69.99. It is available in two colour options, Blue and Silver. You can check out more details here.

1. New-Generation Dynamic Driver For Next-Level Sound:-

As we have mentioned before, ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2 still rocks a single-dynamic driver setup, but this driver is newly developed with new-generation technologies. Previously on the Quiet Sea 1, we had a 10mm dual-chamber dynamic driver unit with a self-developed Topology diaphragm. This driver is now upgraded for the Quiet Sea 2. We have a 10mm dual-magnetic, dual-cavity dynamic driver setup, which is made up of two types of materials. It has a carbon-copper vacuum-coated dome structure and a multi-layered PEEK substrate material diaphragm coil. This new dual-cavity, dual-magnetic dynamic driver enhances clarity with lower-distortion levels. It helps the tuner to fine-tune the output with better extensions, richer tonality, and charming vocals.  With this new driver employed as the core of the pair, the Quiet Sea 2 delivers outstanding resolution, much improved over the previous model.

2. All-New ORBITA Architecture For Enhanced Efficiency:-

One of the key upgrades that we have on the Quiet Sea 2 over the previous model is the new ORBITA architecture. The pair features a dual-magnetic circuit that produces a strong magnetic flux, resulting in smoother operation of the driver coil. With ORBITA architecture, ROSESELSA has achieved a great level of efficiency on the Quiet Sea 2. The pair doesn’t require any high-end DAC/AMP to sound its best; it works perfectly well across different sources. ORBITA architecture greatly improves the efficiency of the Quiet Sea 2.

3. New IEM Deserves A New Sound Tuning Profile:-

ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2 enhances the tuning set by the OG Quiet Sea model. It was known for its clean and responsive sound profile. The Quiet Sea 2 now delivers a more dynamic response with enhanced frequency extensions, richer tonality, and better resolution/clarity. The pair packs amazing vocals that stand out with a charming tone and proper clarity. Quiet Sea 2 sounds more immersive, and thanks to the advanced diaphragm, the pair shows ultra-low distortion characteristics as well. Experience a new sound with the new Quiet Sea 2.

4. Lighter and More Durable Aluminium-Alloy Cavities:-

ROSESLESA has upgraded the stock cavity of the pair as well. Previously on the Quiet Sea 1, we had CNC-machined Zinc-Alloy cavities. The new Quiet Sea 2 comes with lightweight CNC-machined aluminium alloy ear cavities. The mid-cavity is made up of transparent polycarbonate material. Aluminium alloy material is lighter in weight, bringing us lighter shells with the Quiet Sea 2.

5. Meet “Jasmine”, The Upgraded Stock Cable:-

ROSESELSA bundles the new Quiet Sea 2 with their latest Jasmine cable. It is a hybrid 4-strand cable made up of 5N oxygen-free copper wire conductors. This cable not only has the internal wire conductor quality improved, but we also have swappable termination plugs on this cable now. ROSESELSA has included a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced plug with the Quiet Sea 2. On the previous models, i.e., the Quiet Sea, we used to get a fixed termination cable with a choice between 3.5mm and 4.4mm options. So, we get a modular cable with high-quality wire cores with the new Roseselsa Quiet Sea 2.

6. Liquid Silicone Ear Tips:-

Next, we have also received an upgrade in the bundled accessories package with the Quiet Sea 2. It’s not just the new “Jasmine” upgrade cable; ROSESELSA also upgrades the bundled ear tips with the pair. The Quiet Sea 2 comes with high-quality liquid silicone ear tips. They not only provide better wearing comfort, but also better isolation. These ear tips are made up of high-quality, skin-friendly Liquid Silicone material.

Final Words:-

ROSESELSA Quiet Sea 2 is an entirely new pair of in-ear monitors. All these above-mentioned upgrades, especially the new driver with a multi-layered PEEK diaphragm and carbon-copper coated dome, elevate the performance of the pair, promising better resolution, better clarity, and richer tonality. With its new ORBITA architecture, the Quiet Sea 2 gets better efficiency and solid performance across different sources. The new included liquid silicone ear tips ensure users get better wearing comfort, and at the same time, the new “Jasmine” cable brings a modular termination plug system to the Quiet Sea 2.
