Five Upgrades With Tanchjim Origin Lost Manor Limited Edition IEMs: Tanchjim Origin Vs Tanchjim Origin Lost Manor!!

Tanchjim recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with the launch of the special edition Origin Lost Manor. For the past many years, Tanchjim has been a top-level player in the HiFi audio market. From premium-sounding IEMs to portable DAC/AMPs and even a compatible Android application with built-in PEQ functionality and community, Tanchjim has done it all while keeping the prices in the affordable segment. In their entire lineup, their single dynamic driver based IEMs are widely talked about, such as the Tanchjim Oxygen, Origin, etc. The latest Origin Lost Manor is a visually stunning, technically upgraded to the OG Tanchjim Origin IEMs. They not only bring an artistic approach to the world of audiophiles, but also have noticeable improvements in the sonic department with the newer DMT5 Ultra series dynamic driver unit and a completely revamped air flow management acoustic structure. In today’s blog, we are going to look at all the new features that are here with the Limited Edition Origin Last Manor. Let’s get our reading glasses, grab a cup of hot coffee, and begin!!

Technically Upgraded To The Next Level:-

The OG Tanchjim Origin packs in a 10mm dual-cavity DMT5 series dynamic driver unit. For the Tanchjim Origin Lost Manor, the brand has featured the next-generation DMT5 Ultra series 10mm dynamic driver unit. Just like the OG model, this one also adopts a dual-cavity, dual-magnetic design, but the entire structure is revamped to offer better clarity and better performance with ultra-low distortion. Its THD+N performance is improved over the predecessor model at just 0.049% and produces an extended frequency response range of 2Hz~48kHz. Users will experience better extensions, both in the sub-bass realm and the ultra-high frequency extensions, with the all-new Tanchjim Origin Lost Manor Limited Edition IEMs.

Upgraded Acoustic Structure For Enhanced Performance:-

Next, we have noticeable upgrades in the acoustic cavity structure of the Origin Lost Manor that make it stand apart from the predecessor model. The OG Origin featured an Air vent system developed with FEA simulation technology. The new Origin Lost Manor adopts an upgraded airflow management system, again using the trusted FEA simulation technology and also features Helmholtz resonance technology in the rear cavity structure. Firstly, we have optimized sound air flow through the enhanced DMT5 Ultra series dynamic driver using a multi-micro hole waveguide cover. This cover is designed using high-precision technology to study the sound waves flowing through the driver; it greatly helps in delivering accurate sound with high-fidelity clarity on the pair. Additionally, the Origin Lost Manor adopts a Helmholtz resonator in the rear cavity, which enhances the output with focused, high-resolution vocals and enhanced clarity for instruments in the mix. With this upgraded, enhanced acoustic arrangement, the Tanchjim Lost Manor offers a clean, precise, and natural sound that complements a wide range of genres. Origin Lost Manor also features a new pressure-relief system that balances the airflow and aims to reduce wearing fatigue and enhance wearing comfort.

Crafted For Elegance, Class, and Premium Feel:-

Tanchjim is known for its extensively crafted, precision-milled IEM shells. Be it the Oxygen, Origin, or any other model in their lineup, they all have a solid build quality. The OG Origin was a piece of art itself with simple, CNC-machined metallic ear shells; however, the latest Origin Lost Manor takes things seriously and brings us an outstandingly beautiful, uniquely exceptional design inspired by the poetic theme of “Lost Manor”. It reflects elegance and class with its laser-engraved precision-milled metallic ear shells. The cavities have a stunning design that matches the unique theme of Lost Manor. The left side earpiece has a royal girl engraving on the face panel area, the right side earpiece has a royal sigil engraving with the Tanchjim logo in the centre on the face panel area. This unique theme is also followed in the retail packaging of the Origin Lost Manor. If you want a minimalistic design, you would’ve appreciated the clean design of the OG Origin, but if you seek something unique, something classy, the Origin Lost Manor brings you a different flavour!!

Upgraded Stock Cable With Interchangeable Termination Plugs:-

Tanchjim has upgraded the stock cable for the Origin Lost Manor. From the standard OFC silver-plated cable on the OG Origin to the latest high-purity coaxial Litz braided Copper and Silver hybrid cable with an interchangeable termination plug system on the Origin Lost Manor, we get a better stock cable with the Lost Manor. This upgraded cable is crafted using high-purity 6N oxygen-free copper silver-plated material. It adopts a properly shielded positive core that protects the sound signal from unnecessary interference. The cable also has a softer outer cover, which makes it soft and tangle-resistant.  Tanchjim has included 3.5mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and a Type-C termination plug in the retail package of Origin Lost Manor. With the Type-C termination, the pair gets complete integration with the Tanchjim application available on Android devices. Users can access unlimited DSP possibilities with this application. This feature was not available with the OG Origin and is unique for the Lost Manor edition.

Tuned Following The Newer Target:-

Tanchjim has the OG Origin tuned following the Tanchjim 4128 HATS Target response, but the newer Lost Manor is tuned following the Tanchjim 5128 HATS target. With this new tuning profile, Tanchjim has achieved punchier bass with a more resolving sound response across a wide frequency band. The above-mentioned acoustic improvements, such as DMT5 Ultra series dynamic driver, multi-microporous filtering structure, Helmholtz rear cavity resonator, and newer acoustic waveguide airflow system, all these features have also helped Tanchjim achieve their desired target response with the new Origin Lost Manor. The resulting performance has better clarity, lower distortion, and enhanced performance across different genres of music.
