High-Performance Sabre Dual DAC Chipset:-

At the core of UA5, Shanling has equipped two high-performance ES9038Q2M DAC chips. ES9038Q2M is a 32-bit stereo DAC that provides unprecedented performance while decoding Hi-Res audio signals. There are two DAC chips in the UA5, one for each channel creating a fully balanced architecture.

Powerful Amplification with Dual-Amplifiers:-

Shanling UA5 features two Ricore RE6863 amplifier chips. They are arranged in a balanced design with the DAC chips. The Ricore amplifiers produce a powerful output thrust that enables the UA5 to output a clean and powerful driving force. It powers your IEMs and low-demanding headphones well without any trouble. The output power rating with the UA5 is up to 211mW@32Ω(balanced port).

Supports Both Balanced & Single-ended Connections:-

Shanling UA5 has both single-ended as well as balanced headphone output ports. Users can connect their favorite headphones and in-ear monitors with the UA5 with either a 3.5mm single-ended or a 4.4mm balanced terminated cable. The 3.5mm port also provides SPDIF digital output. 

Rich Anodized Chassis With Physical Volume Wheel:-

Shanling UA5 is made with a rich anodized finish. The DAC/AMP is available in two different color options, Red & Black. Both of the color options look absolutely adorable and elegant. The UA5 has a physical volume wheel that can be used to independently change the volume settings or just navigate through the menu. There’s also a 1.44” monochromatic OLED display. This display shows different information such as active decoding bitrate, volume, and gain level.
