In order to design a fantastic sounding set, professional engineers at Moondrop have designed the latest UltraSonic with a dual-driver hybrid configuration. The pair houses a FRA lithium-magnesium alloy balanced armature tweeter. The Lithium-Magnesium alloy diaphragm here has lighter density when compared to beryllium material diaphragms. This ensures crisp and defined high-frequency response with the Pair. The BA unit is supported by a 13mm large dynamic driver with Sapphire composite material diaphragm dome structure. Both these drivers here are arranged in a two-way crossover. The FRA BA unit is here for defined high-frequency response while the DD unit promises enhanced full-frequency band with rich bass, clear vocals, and detailed instruments. With professional tuning by Moondrop’s engineers, the UltraSonic has a natural and lively sound presentation. It follows the VDSF Target response curve. The pair actually has five different tuning profiles, Monitor, Reference, Club, 89XX, and 336XX. Users can switch between these tuning profiles using the Moondrop Link application.
