In order to break away from the traditional hybrid and create something unique with the flagship, Moondrop has equipped the AA24 with a whopping 24BA drivers on each side. The pair is designed to maximize transient speed, precision, and consistency of BA drivers without any compromise. The dense 24-driver setup is implemented by their sophisticated XTM complex crossover technology to get the best out of each driver. In fact, every driver has been purposefully selected and designed to play a distinctive role in the vast acoustic design. The foundation is built upon Moondrop’s patented 16BA SUPERWOOFER module. They have connected and created a composite BA driver with 16 balanced armature drivers. By utilizing progressively delayed acoustic channels, this innovative 16-driver bass matrix overcomes traditional BA limitations, delivering the physical slam and dynamic impact of a dynamic driver while maintaining lightning-fast decay.

For midrange, we have a custom-developed 4-driver composite BA with aluminium-magnesium alloy diaphragm drivers that ensure exceptionally rich and transparent vocals and detailed instruments. The treble frequencies are masterfully handled by a 4-driver composite BA setup with a unique damping suspension.
