Meizu HD60 cVc Noise Cancellation Over-ear Bluetooth Headphone Unveiled on Press Conference | Hifigo

Meizu is having a festival of product launch today in Beijing! We had expected just the Meizu 16T, but the Chinese company has unveiled a couple of other products. One of the new products launched is the Meizu HD60 wireless headset. As the name suggests, it’s the successor to the Meizu HD50 that was launched in 2015.

In terms of the appearance, The Meizu HD60 Bluetooth Headphones come in two color options — Fog Silver and Tropical Orange. The company says HD60 Bluetooth headphones have a stainless steel sliding structure which is durable, well-structured, rigid and is comfortable to wear. The first layer has a cowhide leather that showcases the texture while the earmuffs are made of protein skin leather which the company says is comfortable even for prolonged usage.

The Meizu HD60 feature noise cancellation using cVc dual-microphone mode noise reduction technology which ensures that you have a noise-free audio experience. Equipped with a 500mAh battery, the HD60 has a battery life of 25 hours on a single charge.

It uses a 40mm bio-diaphragm super-sounding unit and has an independent back cavity which raises the output of the low-frequency sound. The company also said that the medium and high frequency is clear and not harsh.

The Meizu HD60 is a high-res audio headset with Bluetooth 5.0 wireless design. The headset supports aptX Bluetooth decoding. Comparing to the Bluetooth SBC audio format, aptX allows more efficiently and at a slightly higher rate. There’s a USB Type-C port and it also has support for wired audio connection.

In addition, Meizu HD60 also supports direct voice wake up of the Meizu smart assistant Aicy, meaning it can be connected with the smart assistant. It is worth mentioning that with Meizu mobile phone, the connection with the headset is rapid. The phone will automatically pop up the connection window when connecting for the first time.

Currently, the company has chosen to unveil the HD60 at the price CNY 499. which roughly converts to $71 and the company will start taking reservations for the same from 23rd October while the shipments will start from 28th October in China.
