The FiiO FX17 is designed with minimal aesthetics yet a premium finish. The ear shells here feature pure titanium material construction. They have a classic, natural curved ergonomic cavity design. The Titanium material ear shells are hand polished and then treated with a vapor deposition process to achieve a silky smooth lustrous finish. Even with the 13-driver setup, the pair has an ergonomic shape that ensures perfect wearing comfort. The nozzle angle is adjusted to 10° based on user feedback and scientific research to achieve a comfortable wearing experience for the users.

At the core of the FX17, FiiO has equipped the pair with a 13-driver setup on each side. This includes a 10mm lithium-magnesium alloy dynamic driver, four custom Balanced armature drivers from Knowles and eight SONION EST drivers. Each driver here is carefully chosen to achieve a true flagship-grade sound performance. The 10mm lithium-magnesium alloy dynamic driver unit features a lightweight, robust material diaphragm. It is precisely tuned to deliver a deep, impactful lower-end response. This DD unit is combined with four custom Knowles BA drivers for exceptional midrange accuracy and timbre. The eight SONION EST setup enhances the output with an airy, expansive high and ultra-high frequency band response. With patented S.Turbo technology, the FX17 provides a deep and extended bass response. S.Turbo technology is inspired by the Turbo design in Super Cars. It cleverly controls the path of the sound signal enhancing the bass response. With tighter bass control, the S.Turbo technology also enhances the clarity in the midrange and treble regions.

FiiO FX17 features a professionally designed acoustic structure. The pair featuresan  electronic+physical five-frequency band crossover. As mentioned previously, the dynamic driver delivers a solid punch in the lower-end region, the BA drivers are adjusted with great precision. They deliver accurate tone and rich details in the midrange section. Lastly, the Eight SONION EST setup is here to provide you with extensive high and ultra-high frequency band response. FiiO FX17 comes with a high-purity stock cable. The cable has a mixed-hybrid design featuring three different types of wire material cores, including Gold, Silver, and Copper materials. It has a 8-strand design, with a litz braided structure. As you might know, each material has a different level of signal transmission properties, FiiO has designed this FX17 cable bringing you the best from each material type. Copper brings rich, sweet timbre, silver material ensures fast transient speeds with low signal loss during transmission, and the gold wire cores promise enhanced bass transients for a truly powerful sound response. It adopts expanded MMCX connectors and features a twist-lock interchangeable termination plug system. The pair includes 3.5mm, 4.4mm, and 2.5mm plugs in the package.
