At the core of the FiiO K15, we have a premium dual DAC chipset featuring two flagship DAC chips from AKM Technologies. It houses dual AK4497S chips, which makes it the very first market-available device featuring these advanced 32-bit DAC chips. With proper implementation, FiiO has made sure the K15 provides exceptional performance in processing high-resolution audio signals. It maintains top-level performance with ultra-low distortion, high SNR, and high DNR values while processing 32-bit PCM and Native DSD audio signals. The AKM AK4497SVQ DAC chips feature AKM’s advanced “Velvet Sound” technology, it promises a silky smooth, rich sound quality. Combined with the clean and natural DAC setup, we have a powerful discrete Class AB headphone amplification circuit on the K15. It features OPAMPs and uses current boosting transistors as well. FiiO has equipped the K15 with a pair of ON Semiconductor MJE243G/253G chips that deliver high-current amplification and low-impedance output. K15 achieves a powerful output of about 3W per channel, strong enough to drive even the demanding headphones with ease. FiiO K15 features five-level gain adjustment, which makes it a great companion for both low and high-sensitivity IEMs and Headphones.

FiiO K15 features fully balanced audio circuitry with independent boards for digital, analog, and power supply sections. This independent design and fully balanced audio circuit ensures top-tier performance with ultra-low distortion, reduced crosstalk, and minimal noise floor. Even with sensitive Headphones and IEMs, you won’t hear any noise floor with the K15. The K15 also features independent accusilicon low-phase, ultra-low-phase jitter femtosecond crystal oscillators. Clocked at 45.158MHz and 49.1520MHz, they effectively provide clean signal processing with reduced phase interference.

FiiO K15 is a standalone device that can be used in multiple scenarios.
