FiiO has come up with a brand new flagship desktop DAC and headphone amplifier, meet the FiiO K17. It’s a versatile device that incorporates multiple advanced functions and features in a retro-styled design. FiiO has trusted top-quality components on the K17, including a flagship Dual DAC chipset housing AK4191+AK4499EX*2 DAC chips. With a transistor-based Class AB amplification circuit, the K17 produces a strong output thrust which can easily drive IEMs and demanding headphones on the market. Additionally, we also have a high-performance DSP chipset that supports a highly precise 31-band PEQ function for fine adjustments to the output. Furthermore, we have multiple input options, including wireless Bluetooth V5.1, USB, Coaxial, Optical, and local playback(USB hard drive, SSD, etc.). As mentioned previously, the K17 houses a dual AKM flagship DAC chip (AK4191+AK4499EX*2).  It’s a high-performance 32-bit DAC setup that supports high-resolution audio signal processing with great precision. With the XMOS XU316 3rd generation 16-core USB processor, the K17 supports high-quality USB audio signal processing. It supports high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 audio signals. We also have MQA audio signal processing on the K17. Supporting this high-end DAC setup, FiiO K17 features a fully discrete class-AB transistor amplification circuit. It features high-performance MJE243/253 transistors from ON Semiconductor. They provide high-current, low-impedance amplification, giving a strong output that reaches up to 4000mW per channel. FiiO K17 features five gain levels: Low, Medium, High, Super High, and Ultra High. They allow for easy pairing of high-power requiring full-sized headphones as well as low-power requiring high-sensitivity IEMs.

FiiO K17 borrows the super interesting advanced 31-band PEQ function from its flagship K19 DAC/AMP. The K17 adopts a high-performance DSP chipset that enables this ultra-precise lossless PEQ function. This 31-band PEQ allows for ultra-precise fine-tuning of the output signal, bringing full control at the user’s disposal. Users can perfectly tailor the audio output to their liking and have different presets. With dual-band WiFi(2.4G/5G) and a gigabit Ethernet port, the FiiO K17 supports high-speed internet streaming. It supports streaming via Roon Ready and Apple AirPlay functions.

FiiO K17 merges retro elegance with modern features; it features a high-quality full-metal alloy chassis. It has five physical knobs: one for on/off, one for volume, one for output selection, one for gain level, and one for menu navigation. FiiO K17 features a large 3.93” colourful touchscreen display.
