FiiO DM15 houses an advanced five-core architecture coordinated by an independent MCU. The CD player houses a dedicated CD servo, a premium Dual DAC decoding module, and a Bluetooth module with an advanced Qualcomm chipset. Audio processing is handled by dual AKM AK4493S DAC chips that bring the lovely VELVET SOUND technology to the DM15. These are paired with OPA1642 low-pass filters and dual SGM8262 amplifiers, this setup promises a smooth, natural sound timbre with extremely low distortion. The DM15 supports 32bit/384kHz and DSD256 audio signals natively.

FiiO DM15 features a custom-designed CD mechanism equipped with a self-rebounding steel ball disc-alignment design for smooth loading and scratch protection during playback. Built with an all-aluminium alloy chassis and a scratch-resistant tempered glass top window, the DM15 allows users to enjoy spinning CDs while offering modern functionalities visually.
