As mentioned earlier, the EA edition DK3001 BD retains the nine-driver tribrid setup as the predecessor model featuring 1 dynamic driver, 4 balanced armature drivers, and 4 micro planar drivers per side, but introduces a new acoustic tuning philosophy. The pair has a new air-damping system, and it is combined with a dual 4-way frequency crossover(physical+electronic) that enhances the overall performance. It’s tuned to deliver a rich and dense sound profile with punchier lower-end, richer vocals, and smooth yet detailed treble region. Compared to the OG DK3001 BD, the EA edition complements genres like Movie OSTs, EDM, and Hip-Hop with its punchier and more dynamic lower end.
