From a six-driver hybrid setup on the OG Vulkan, DUNU has revamped the Vulkan 2 with a new eight-driver hybrid setup. The pair employs dual dynamic drivers and six high-performance balanced armature drivers arranged together using an advanced 4-way frequency crossover. DUNU has equipped two individual dynamic drivers, one 10mm and another 8mm combined with dual Knowles BA drivers for a rich midrange and four customized BA drivers for extended and accurate treble response. The two dynamic drivers have got independent acoustic chambers which are fully isolated from other drivers as well as from each other. The 10mm driver independently produces an extended sub-bass response while the 8mm driver independently handles the bass region. With a fully isolated chamber design, they produce a fuller, impactful bass response. DUNU has adjusted the tuning of the pair to be highly detailed, rich, and musical. It complements different genres such as Rock, Pop, Vocal-centric, etc.

DUNU has equipped the Vulkan 2 with a four-way frequency division technology. It is a hybrid crossover featuring four independent acoustic channels with precise electronic crossover.
