DUNU Introduces "SA6 EST": 6BA+2EST High-Performance IEMs

DUNU has released a new variant for its highly acclaimed “SA6” series of multi-driver in-ear monitors, presenting the all-new DUNU SA6 EST. Different from the previously launched products in the series such as the SA6, the SA6 MK2, and the SA6 Ultra, the new DUNU SA6 EST brings together two types of drivers underneath its shells.

As the name suggests, the SA6 EST houses six high-performance BA drivers and two highly resolving EST drivers on each side. DUNU has featured custom painted Nebula designer faceplates to the set. It’s a new step in the future for mid-segment IEMs by DUNU, the SA6 EST is here to enhance our music listening experience.

Previously, the SA6 series from DUNU has featured six BA driver configuration. This time with the SA6 EST, DUNU has stepped forward by including two EST drivers with 6 BA drivers on each side, so we have a total of 8 drivers per side on the pair.

DUNU has equipped with top-quality BA drivers from SONION and Knowles. There are two custom SONION Low-Frequency BA drivers with large airflow chamber that delivers a strong lower end response, then we have two independent custom Knowles BA drivers for rich midrange, two independent Knowles BA drivers deliver classy resolution, and lastly, we have two SONION EST drivers for ultimate details and extensions in the ultra-high frequency band.

DUNU has arranged the drivers in a dual-way physical+electronic four-way electronic crossover design. It has four-channel acoustic guide system combined with a precisely designed electronic crossover. It enables precise adjustments to the tuning and provide highly consistent phase control throughout a wide frequency band.

This Dual-Way Quad crossover gets the best out of each driver unit. For optimum performance the internal wiring on the set is also done using high-purity silver-plated single-crystal copper wires. DUNU has adjusted the tuning of the SA6 EST for a rich, detailed, and highly consistent sound presentation. It complements different genres of music well with its rich and dynamic output.

DUNU SA6 EST has got stunning design. The pair looks absolutely phenomenal with Nebula design face covers and contour color matching resin shells. The face covers have the perfect blend of Blue, White, and Black shades with glittery silver sparkles that depict the cosmic nebula sky. The pair has an ergonomic shape which is perfect for getting the perfectly comfortable fit.

DUNU bundles the SA6 EST with a wide range of accessories. This includes a premium leather carry case, S&S ear tips from S to XL size, and DUNU Hulk Pro Mini stock cable. The cable here has patented Q-Lock Plus swappable termination plug design with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs included in the package.
