Celest has officially announced a successor to its fan-favourite pair of in-ear monitors, presenting the all-new Celest Phoenixcall 2.0. Carrying forward the poetic theme the OG Phoenixcall brought with it, “every departure is for the sake of coming home”, the Phoenixcall 2.0 isn’t just a facelift, it’s a completely new IEM with a new artistic approach and a new internal six-driver hybrid setup on each side.

First of all, Celest has completely overhauled the aesthetic appeal of the already impressive Phoenixcall with the 2.0 version. It is now designed to bring peace through four different natural landscapes, available through the four eye-catching colour options of the pair.
Celest has officially priced the Phoenixcall 2.0 at $169, feel free to check out more information here.
While the OG Phoenixcall featured a 5-driver hybrid setup, the 2.0 version is set to elevate the sound with its upgraded six-driver hybrid configuration on each side. Celest has not just added another driver to the mix, they have also upgraded the previous ones for better sound presentation. The pair now houses a 2DD+2BA+2FPD(planar magnetic driver) setup on each side. It features an 8mm coaxial dual dynamic driver with one imported Knowles BA combined with one custom-developed BA driver, and we also have two 6mm planar magnetic drivers.

Together, this six-driver setup is carefully tuned with the DD units dedicated to deliver deep, elastic bass, the BA units to deliver exceptional resolution and natural timbre in the mid-high frequency band, and the Planar drivers tasked to improve the high-frequency extension with transparent and clear response. Celest has tuned the set for a rich, musical sound while maintaining clean and natural timbre across the frequency band.

With the Phoenixcall 2.0, Celestial is leaning heavily into its reputation for artistic design. The pair is available in four distinctive colour options, each showcasing a natural landscape depicting the journey of birds. The natural theme is not just limited to the hand-painted face plates, each features a matching packaging design as well. The pair is available in Dawn(Red), Dusk(Orange), Sea Light(Blue), and Star Spiral(Black).
The shells are crafted from high-quality lightweight resin material. The face plates are designed using complex processes such as multi-layer UV relief, 3D carvings, etc. The face plates are beautifully hand-painted, they mimic a physical landscape with their 3D light and shadow patterns.

Celest includes a high-purity 5N silver-plated copper 8-strand braided cable. The cable features an interchangeable termination plug system with 3.5mm and 4.4mm connectors included in the box. Celest Phoenixcall 2.0 promise a fuller, dynamic sound profile that aims to please both critical listeners and casual audiophiles. The pair has officially launched today, priced at $169, feel free to check out more information here.
