Binary Introduces Dynaquattro 4 Dynamic Driver IEMs

Binary Acoustics has introduced a brand new pair of in-ear monitors, the Binary Dynaquattro. As you might guess with the name of the pair, the Dyna Quattro features a four-dynamic driver configuration per side. It houses a 10mm, a 8mm, a 6.8mm dynamic driver units and a 6mm passive diaphragm unit adjusted together using a precisely designed three-way frequency crossover.

Together they have a total diaphragm area of approximately 193 square millimeters. Each driver unit has its own independent acoustic guide(tube) structure as well, this helps in providing a clear three-frequency band. The Dynaquattro has an amazing driver setup. With four dynamic drivers on each side, the pair promises an enticing sound presentation with a wide frequency band response and amazing clarity throughout the frequency band. Binary has equipped the set with professionally designed dynamic drivers. It has a 10mm dynamic driver with a unique dual-diaphragm design and internal+external dual magnetic structure.

It adopts a dome-coated titanium silicone grainless diaphragm and a 6mm wool paper cone passive diaphragm as well. There’s an 8mm dynamic driver with a cermet texture-less diaphragm made up of lightweight and hard material. The 6.8mm driver here adopts a pure aluminum material diaphragm. These drivers are professionally designed using computer calculations and the Klippel system. It helps in accurately designing the internal of the driver units to capture and control the vibration as required.

Using independent acoustic guide structures for each driver unit and pure three-way frequency crossover, the Binary Dynaquattro offers a clean, crisp, and well-defined sound presentation. The 10mm dual-diaphragm dynamic driver along with the 6mm passive diaphragm unit produces a strong and impactful lower-end. The 6mm passive diaphragm controls the slam and refines it with better quality. As per the frequency crossover, the 8mm driver produces an accurate and clear midrange. The vocals are full of life and show natural timbre. The 6.8mm dynamic driver with its aluminum diaphragm produces a well-defined high-frequency band showcasing exquisite details and great extensions in the high-frequency band.

Binary has crafted the ear shells with great precision as well. The Dynaquattro features a high-precision 3D printed resin acoustic chamber with CNC-machined anodized aluminum alloy face panels. The face covers look simply exquisite with beautiful gears and machinery motifs. The precise gear symbolizes professionalism, concentration, precision, and innovation.

Binary has crafted the shells with an ergonomic design and shape, it will promise a comfortable wearing experience for its users. To get the best out of the Dynaquattro, Binary includes a high-quality stock cable with the set. It is a high-purity oxygen-free copper silver-plated cable with 2-pin 0.78mm connectors and an interchangeable plug system. Users can replace the termination plugs with 3.5mm or 4.4mm plugs both of which come with the pair itself.
