A Brief Introduction To AFUL Acoustics

A Brief Introduction To AFUL Acoustics

Founded back in 2018, AFUL Acoustics has kept a precise focus to develop high-end performing in-ear monitors at affordable prices. Together with its innovative R&D team, AFUL has got many different patents under its name. They have adhered to the simple concept of "Only Real Progress in Technology can bring Tangible benefits to the Consumer”, in short, they have aimed to develop different technologies that benefit the end consumer. AFUL Acoustics was founded to bring a change to the HiFi audio industry with class-leading innovative IEMs.

Aful Acoustics-1

They have always targeted a strong and experienced acoustic R&D Team. The acoustic team spent over two years researching and developing different technologies. They matured the basic technology in 2020. Today, with a combination of different technologies such as EnvisionTEC Medical-Grade 3D Printed Acoustic Tube Structure, 3D Air-Pressure Balanced Relief Technology, Multi-Driver Acoustic Structures, etc, AFUL Acoustics has achieved industry-leading high-end sound performance at affordable price points.

Aful Acoustics-2

AFUL Acoustics has always aimed to bring innovative acoustic technologies. Rather than following the footsteps of every other brand, AFUL has created its own patented technologies to bring quality sound to the masses. Currently, AFUL Acoustics has launched its latest Performer5, a five-driver hybrid set of in-ear monitors that features three of their patented technologies. Performer5 houses a combination of a powerful dynamic driver with four balanced armature drivers. With their EnvisionTEC 3D printing technology, the shell size is kept small, and the performance is enlarged. You can check out more information on AFUL Performer5 here.

EnvisionTEC 3D-Printed Acoustic Structure Design:-

It's time we explore the different patented technologies that Aful has got under its name. As we have shared before in the introduction for Aful, the brand has done extensive research and developed several different technologies that they have patented under their name. Today, we are going to share some information on one of their most important innovation, the EnvisionTEC 3D Printed Acoustic Structure Design.

Implementing multiple drivers in a shell is difficult that it seems. One has to make sure that the implementation is perfect and none of the drivers interfere with each other as that might introduce distortion and irregular frequency response. To counter this, Aful Acoustics imported EnvisionTEC medical-grade 3D printed specially from Germany. Different from other regular 3D printers, the result of this printed is highly accurate and it helps precise adjustments to achieve desired output.

With this technology, the acoustic structure of the Performer5 is precisely matched. Through high-precision 3D modelling and manufacturing, high-standards of the structure is obtained at affordable prices. The structure consists of a 60mm ultra-long and ultra-thin bass tube, 30mm mid-bass tube. The pair has been designed with a high-damping air-pressure balance system. It can release the air pressure built inside the air-canal while the pair is worn. It also has a treble/bass smoothing filter that allows for smooth extension in the high-frequency band, and deep sub-bass reach.

All this has only been possible with the help of EnvisionTEC 3D Printing technology. With the help of this high-precision printer, accurate acoustic amplitude characteristics and phase characteristics have been achieved. We are pretty sure that you are gonna enjoy the Performer 5 and feel the difference with this new high-precision 3D-printed acoustic structure design!!
